CACR 6, relating to the encouragement of literature. Providing that
it shall be the duty of the legislators and magistrates to not hinder,
impede or obstruct the interest of literature and the sciences.
INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE
Rep. Mark S. Carter for Education: The committee heard testimony on
several CACR’s concerning Article 83 of the second part of the New
Hampshire Constitution. While all of the CACR’s had some merit, the
committee decided to retain CACR 2 and CACR 13 and to Inexpedient
to Legislate CACR 6. Vote 17-0.
